David Linden

Keynotes by David Linden discuss how the human brain and body react pleasurably to uncertain and spontaneous events. In particular, Linden examines the pleasure humans feel during interactions with addictive social media and gambling. As a Professor of Neuroscience at John Hopkins University, Linden has a vast knowledge of the inner workings of the human brain and its responsiveness. In terms of his education, Linden received undergraduate and graduates degrees in Brain Chemistry and Neuroscience from the University of California and Northwestern University; shortly after receiving his Ph.D. worked for Hoffmann-La Roche a globe health-care company.
