Crystal Washington

Crystal Washington's keynote speeches derive from her expertise as a marketing strategist and social media consultant. Washington's background started in corporate sales, where she worked on contracts with Fortune 500 firms. Washington quickly moved up the ranks before starting her own marketing firm.

Now she is the owner of Black-Market Exchange, which is a marketing firm in Houston. In this capacity, she teaches people how to utilize marketing techniques and social media in pursuit of their professional goals.

Washington is the recipient of the Evolving Eve Award from Houston Women Magazine and has appeared in Black Enterprise Magazine, The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur, Black MBA Magazine and CareerBuilder.com. She's also lent her expertise via appearances on ABC, NBC and CBS.

She also sits on the boards of Inprint and Rice University's Center for the Study of Women, Gender and Sexuality.
