Marienetti received a master's degree in music composition from the Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music. His work has been showcased at the International Gaudeamus Competition, The Stone, Massachusetts Museum of Modern Art, amogst other venues. In 2007 Chris co-founded Young Producers Project (YPP). He also founded Found Sound Nation. He is currently a teaching artist at the Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall.
