Chade-Meng Tan

Tan is currently the founder and Chairman of Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, an organization that aims to open minds and encourage emotional intelligence. Prior to this position, Tan was Google's Jolly Good Fellow and was one of Google's earliest engineers who helped Google build the first mobile search service.

Meng founded the Tan Teo Charitable Foundation, an organization that aims to promote "Peace, Liberty and Enlightenment" and designed an intelligence course called 'Search Inside Yourself.' He is also a Founding Patron at the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford University, as well as at the World Peace Festival.

In terms of his education, Meng received his Master's in Computer Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara. As a direct result of his work with technology, Meng received the 'Championship of Singapore's National Software Competition' and holds a high-level position at Google. As an author, Tan is most well-known for his New York Times Bestseller 'Search Instead Yourself,' which was endorsed by President Carter and the Dalai Lama.
