England born Beeban Kidron is known for her speeches on promoting the study of film as a way to restructure individuals narratives including worldviews and their memories. Kidron has been a film director for over 30 years and a joint founder of the influential FILMCLUB, a education charity that allows children to watch and analyze internationally iconic films designed for educational purposes. She rose to fame after her readaptation of the autobiographical novel Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit by Jeanette Wintersons, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, as well as appearing in documentaries and television.
Kidron started as a photographer in her teenage years and enrolled herself into the National Film School as a camera woman at the age of 20 and later switched over to directing.
