The Ashley Murphy speech on HIV is on how to be extraordinary and use your voice for good. At the young age of 17, the high school student has already been speaking publicly about being HIV positive for seven years. At 16 she joined the We Day tour, which is international charity and educational partner Free the Children's signature youth empowerment event. Along with other We Day speakers like Magic Johnson and Martin Luther King III, the speaker motivates others to overcome their challenges and use them to help other people. As a speaker, she has traveled around the world to spread this message.
In addition to speaking out about the HIV stigma, she also advocates for issues including bullying and mental health.
