The Andrew Tarvin talks on humor at work explain how work and humor are not on opposite ends of a spectrum, but rather should come together in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness. The speaker began his career as a computer engineer, after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Ohio State University. He worked as an intern for Proctor & Gamble, eventually joining them full-time as an analyst and then international project manager. Throughout this time, he also began performing with an improv comedy troupe and started doing stand-up.
While at P & G, the speaker began an internal blog called the Corporate Humorist. After moving to New York to grow and gain experience as a comedian, Tarvin established Humor That Works in 2009. In 2012 he left P & G to focus on Humor That Works full-time as a speaker, trainer, author and coach. The Andrew Tarvin talks clearly demonstrate his expertise in this area.
