Amanda Congdon

Amanda Congdon is a Video Blogger who has given speeches and done interviews on the use of social media. Congdon graduated from Northwestern University and when on to host and produce a news program called 'Rocketboom' until 2006. After leaving Rocketboom, Congdon started a video blog called 'Amanda Across America' which followed her on her travels from state to state in a hybrid vehicle. As a part of this traveling blog, Congdon would interview activists and other bloggers.

Congdon's social media speeches discuss her use of social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. She also explains why she thinks these are beneficial in terms of sharing content, connecting and increasing traffic to one's work.
