Alexander Gransbury's keynotes are as innovative as his designs. In 2003, at only 22 years of age, Gransbury founded the domestic industrial design company 'Dreamfarm.' The company's first product was the coffee grind knockbox 'Grindenstein.' The design sprung from Gransbury's frustration at the difficulty of disposing coffee grinds from his espresso machine. Within a year, the design was being sold in retail stores throughout Australia. The product was being sold nationally and internationally by the end of 2005.
Today, Dreamfarm's products, which are hailed as being "revolutionary," are available in 30 different countries, and supplied to more than 450 Australian retailers. One of its latest products, the Garject, won Best in Category at the 2012 Australian International Design Awards.
