With regards to his educational background, Weisman holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in Literature from Northwestern University.

Weisman's work was featured in publications including 'The New York Times Magazine' and the 'Los Angeles Times.' Weisman is also an editor for Homelands Productions radio documentaries.
