Young-ha Kim began his TED Talk speech career at TED 2010 Seoul, South Korea. Kim is multi-awarded novelist whose works often times showcases the rapid growing relationship between South Korea and the world. Most of his works have been translated into numerous languages.
Kim graduated at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. Kim's 1996 debut novel 'I Have the Right to Destroy Myself' earned him the the Munhak-dongne prize literary award. His novel 'Black Flower' earned him the Dong-in Literary Award in 2004, which tells the story of Korean slavery.
Kim was a professor in the Drama School at Korean National University of Arts in 2008. His works often times focuses on the issue of what being Korean in a globalized world.
