The keynotes by Timothy Geithner offer financial and economic insight. Geithner's largest claim to fame was being the 75th U.S. Secretary of the Treasury under President Barack Obama.
Geithner obtained his BA in government and Asian studies from Dartmouth college. He went on to get his Master's degree in international economics and East Asian studies from John Hopkins University. Prior to working as the Secretary of the Treasury, Geithner worked for the International Monetary Fund and served as the CEO for the Federal Reserve Bank. He also served as the Vice Chairman of the Federal Open Market Committee, an organization that determines the national interest rate and formulates monetary policies accordingly.
After leaving office, Geithner penned a memoir titled 'Stress Test: Reflections on Financial Crises.' Currently, he is the president and managing director for private equity firm Warburg Pincus.
