Speaker Till Roenneberg is a professor of chronobiology at the Institute of Medical Psychology, which is a part of Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich. Roenneberg attended and graduated from University College London and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Though Roenneberg started out studying physics, he ended up focusing on biology. He studied under Woody Hastings at Harvard University, after moving to the United States.
Today, Roenneberg is the vice-chair of the Institute for Medical Psychology of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. He's also the head of the Centre for Chronobiology, the president of the World Federation of Societies for Chronobiology, and a member of the Senior Common Room of Brasenose College, University of Oxford.
