Steven Pinker

Pinker is a psychology professor at Harvard University where he specializes in evolutionary and computational subjects. As a Montreal native he studied at McGill University, graduating in 1976 with a B.A. in psychology. He continued his education at Harvard University, eventually obtaining his PhD in experimental psychology.

Steven Pinker's presentations do an excellent job of breaking down critical academic insight. His assistant professor position at Stanford University and title as the director of the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience have all added to his lengthy portfolio. It is consequently far from surprising that his educational commitment and research brought about his listing upon Time Magazine's 100 most influential scientists and thinkers list in 2004.
