Greenblatt graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1964, and earned his Master's in 1968, and later completed a PhD in 1969.
He is the author of several publications such as ‘Three Modern Satirists: Waugh, Orwell, and Huxley,’ in the New Haven: Yale University Press, in 1965. And most recently, ‘The Swerve: How the World Became Modern,’ in the New York: W. W. Norton, in 2011.
Greenbault is also the recipient of several awards including the 2010 Wilbur Cross Medal from Yale University, and the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for 'General Nonfiction' for his publication'The Swerve.' The Stephen Greenblatt speeches provide interesting perspectives on popular literature.
