Pavan Sukhdev

The Pavan Sukhdev keynotes explore how corporations can value & manage environmental impacts and dependencies. In 2011, he was awarded with the McCluskey Fellowship by Yale University. He also received the IEEM Institute Medal for his contribution to economic valuation of the environment.

Sukhdev achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from the University of Oxford. He was also the Special Adviser and Head of UNEP’s Green Economy Initiative, which advocates that green economies actually positively contribute to growing wealth and reducing poverty. Pavan also chairs the World Economic Forum’s 'Global Agenda Council' and serves on the the boards of Conservation International and the Stockholm Resilience Centre.
