Patricia Aburdene

The Patricia Aburdene speeches are future-oriented, designed to teach companies how to transform their businesses according to shifting markets.

Aburdene attended Boston College and graduated with a BA in philosophy. She went on to the Catholic University to receive an MS in library sciences as well as three honorary doctorates. She began her career in business journalism in 1978 at Forbes. She was a Public Policy Fellow at Radcliffe College.

In 1990, she received the Medal of Italy award for her work in diagnosing worldwide trends. She authored the New York Times Bestseller 'Megatrends 2000' and recently released 'Megatrends 2010.'

She is still at Forbes now.
