Neri Oxman's keynotes reflect a keen interest in the world of design. As Assistant Professor of Media Arts and Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Labs, Oxman continues to explore environmental design in the classroom setting.
Educated at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology before going to the London Architectural Association of Architecture and followed it up with MIT. Her work focuses on "material ecology" and works to create sustainable designs. Oxman's work has been featured at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, Museum of Science, Boston and the 2008 International Biennial of Contemporary Art in Beijing.
