Nardwuar's keynote speeches are as entertaining as they are insightful and in his presentations the charismatic media correspondent documents how his wacky personality has helped him secure interviews with some of the most famous names in politics and popular culture.
A graduate of the University of British Columbia, Nardwauar completed an honors B.A. in History and started his first radio show at the institution's CiTR 101.9 FM, which aired every Friday since 1987.
In 1999, he was given a position at Much Music in Canada as a freelance correspondent, which he would hold for the the next ten years of his career. He now has his own program on WFMU and is an occasional guest host on CBC Radio 3 as well as completing numerous 'guerrilla' style interviews where he sneaks into press conferences to ask political candidates hot-topic questions.
Nardwuar's keynote speeches are motivational and encourage his audiences to follow their dreams. They also end with his signature "keep on rockin' in the free world," and "doot doota loot doo..." catch phrases which have become both loved and hated by interviewees all over the world.
