Garces is currently the Director, Founder and Associate Researcher at Infrasound Laboratory at the University of Hawaii's Institute of Geophysics and Planetology. Prior to this position, he held a position as an Assistant Researcher at the Institute of Geophysics and Planetology and a visiting professor at the Kyoto University.
