Michelle Obama

Currently operating as the First Lady of The United States alongside husband Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, Michelle Obama's keynotes are focused on a newly emerging American dream: that of change. Like President Obama, Michelle focuses on an idea of altering the way that American politics is run, how American society operates and how to move America forward.

Educated at Princeton University, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Sociology and African American Studies in 1985, and Harvard Law School, where she got her J.D. in 1988, Obama represents only the third First Lady with a postgraduate degree. Following her education, Obama began her career as an associate at a Chicago law firm Sidley Austin. Since then, she has served as Assistant to the Mayor and Assistant Commissioner of Planning and Development for the City of Chicago. After this, she became the Associate Dean of Student Services at the University of Chicago and the Vice President for Community and External Affairs of the University of Chicago Hospitals.

Among her not-for-profit work, Obama has been Executive Director of the Chicago Office of Public Allies and has undertaken many other causes that affect everyday Americans, for which she has received widespread recognition.

She currently operates as First Lady of the United States and as a Board Member for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Michelle Obama's keynotes reflect her commitment to creating positive change in the United States.
