Cutts is currently a Distinguished Engineer and head of Webspam at Google. He is the engineer responsible for creating the first version of 'SafeSearch,' the family filter for Google's system. In terms of his education, Cutts earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Kentucky and his M.S. from UNC-Chapel Hill. He went on to receive his Ph.D. in Computer Graphics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
