Jonathan Perelman

As the VP of Agency Strategy and Industry Development at BuzzFeed, Perelman takes on all the different aspects of the business from educating advertising agencies on the BuzzFeed platform and ad products to the correct way to distribute the content on the site.

Before BuzzFeed, Perelman was working as the Global Lead for Industry Relations at Google for six years, in which he was in charge of brand identity initiatives and media and advertising relationships. Prior to that he worked at Unifund (Financial Services firm) and worked as the Deputy Finance Director on Cory Booker’s 2002 Mayoral run in Newark, NJ.

Perelman also works as an advisor to start-ups and is on the board of Advertising Week, Ad:Tech and the International Association of Internet Professionals.
