Now the Executive Director in the Department of Interior, Inner Office of the Secretary at the Federal Executive Board of Minnesota, Joseph G. Schmitt oversees programs from the Office of Personnel Management in Washington DC. He is also a member of the FBI's Infragard Program and is the Region 5 Chairman of several frederal and state level associations and councils within the Department of Interior.
After retiring from active duty, Schmitt worked in a variety of capacities, including a senior executive at Target and a Global Portfolio Executive at Jones Lang LaSalle Real Estate Investment Firm.
