The Giles Duley speeches are inspirational and moving as he explores the journey of being a photographer. Duley is a British photojournalist and documentary photographer who unfortunately had both legs and a right arm amputated due to being severely injured while filming in Afghanistan.
Duley is a self-taught photographer who started his career off by taking photographs of musicians. Throughout the 1990s, he worked at publications such as GQ, Esquire and Arena. He also worked with big Brit-pop artists such as Oasis, The Prodigy and the Charlatans.
In 2000, Duley’s Marilyn Manson portrait was voted as one of the greatest rock photos of all time by Q Magazine. Duley soon gave up celebrity photo-shooting and decided to pursue his passion of capturing humanitarian issues on film. He has worked with many predominant and respected non-governmental organizations such as UNHCR, MAG and Médecins Sans Frontières.
Although Duley has faced sever trauma, he is determined to continue with his passion of photography. The Giles Duley speeches are captivating and inspire audience from a wide variety of audiences.
