The Gary Oppenheimer speech on hunger explains the concept behind his nation-wide program AmpleHarvest.org. The Founder and Executive Founder of the virtual enterprise not only has a home garden he grows food in, he also served as the director of a community garden in 2009. This experience inspired him to work with local food pantries and educate, empower and enable communities across the United States to donate fresh produce to address food security.

As the Gary Oppenheimer speech might suggest, the environmentalist became a Rutgers Environmental Steward in the early 2000s.
