Emilie Tappolet

The Emilie Tappolet talk on interactive technology explores how new technologies provide opportunities for storytelling. Currently the self-described interaction design expert works as Creative Director at apelab, a Swiss production studio she also co-founded. The speaker's research centers on playful scenes that blur the lines between the real world and virtual ones she creates.

The narrative designer studied film and motion design before obtaining her Masters degree in media design at HEAD Geneva. Tappolet also works at Geneva's University of Art and Design's Visual Communication Department as a design research assistant. The Emilie Tappolet talk shares her scientific background and some of her work in "spatial storytelling" designed for augmented reality platforms as well as mobile.
