David Stern

The David Stern keynotes explore the world of the NBA and how the sport organization has upholds its values of leadership, motivation and diversity. Stern joined the NBA back in the 70s and spent over 30 years with the organization moving from General Counsel to Executive Vice President and finally Commissioner. His contributions have changed the face of the NBA over the decades.

During his time at the NBA Stern assisted in implementing programs that helped eliminate player drug use and salary caps between players and managers. Both of these feats helped to cement Stern as one of the most influential members of the NBA team. At his time of leave, Stern was granted entrance as a member to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2014.
