David Chang

Speaker David Chang is a chef who owns the Momofuku restaurant franchise, which includes Momofuku Noodle Bar and Momofuku Ssäm Bar (among others). Before he became a well-known chef, Chang was briefly a golfer. After graduating college, he also explored teaching English in Japan as a career option. He also briefly worked in finance in New York City.

Back in 2004, Chang opened up his first restaurant called the Momofuku Noodle Bar. In 2006, Chang opened up his second restaurant. In 2008, he opened a third restaurant called Momofuku Ko, which is extremely exclusive. Reservations have to be made six days in advance.

In 2009, Chang helped to publish a cookbook called Momofuku.
