Dan Murphy

The Dan Murphy talk on expression delves deep into the drawing of cartoons as a profession. Since 1992, he has been writing and editing for the non-profit organization Cartoonists Rights Network International, which advocates for persecuted cartoonists and their right to free speech.

For nearly 30 years, the writer and cartoonist did political cartoons and web animations for the Sunday column Mr. Pundit in the newspaper Vancouver's Province. As outlined in the Dan Murphy talk, believes this work can be used to question authority and encourage critical thinking.
