Carl Schramm

Carl Schramm's keynotes are an interesting take on philanthropic business. Named the "evangelist of entrepreneurship" by the Economist, Schramm led a distinguished career that recently culminated in his resignation from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation after almost a decade of leadership. He is considered a main force behind the global expansion of the foundation and its launch of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Upon attending LeMoyne College for Economics, Schramm graduated in 1968 and earned his Master's of Science in 1969 and PhD in 1973 from the University of Wisconsin in the field of Economics. He worked intimately with the White House as Special Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Policy at the US Department of Labor and as an Economist for the U.S Senate Committee's Human Resources. He worked at and received awards for his work with the U.S Public Health Service.

A professor at John Hopkins University, Schramm founded the John Hopkins Center for Hospital Finance and Management. Carl Schram's keynotes reflect his passion for entrepreneurship and improving the world.
