Twitter all started because Jack had a fascination with what was happening around the world in different cities and he wanted to figure out a way to know more. His parents had a police scanner and a Macintosh, and he had an insatiably curious mind.
Ultimately, Twitter was developed in two weeks. Before those two weeks, Jacks life was devoted to writing simple programs using technology the rest of the world wasn't quite ready for. A lot of what you see on Twitter today is the same as it was in the beginning stages.
