A sense of trust must culminate within an organization, according to Simon Sinek in this trust relationship keynote.
When individuals surround individuals that posses the same set of values, trust is actualized within that setting. Trust is built upon a sense of similar beliefs and values. This facet of social acceptance is an integral part to an organization or company's success. When people that they trust surround individuals, those individuals feel more comfortable with taking risks, more open to experimentation and exploration.
When a company's success reaches a high point, companies begin to focus on their competition and less on their own company. Sinek points out that it's at that company's stage where focus shouldn't be directed at competitors, but at the general foundations which founded those companies.
