Pancho Ramos-Stierle, a former astrophysics student who was born in Mexico, considers the turn his life took when he devoted as much time as he could to pacifist activist efforts, which he explains in his talk on love.
In 2016, he joined Standing Rock protesters in North Dakota, where he connected with the peaceful practices that were used to make a powerful statement. As a student of Gandhi, Pancho Ramos-Stierle believes that nonviolence is the answer to bringing the world closer together, and that promoting this through humanitarian efforts will result in change.
Throughout his talk on love, he tells his audience that they are now in the "new renaissance of humanity" and that "radical love" has the power to liberate the earth. In order to live peacefully, he says that people need to accept those around them, and to never be afraid to extend their generosity to others. He finishes by telling his audience: "If you want to be a rebel, be kind."
