Kenny Moscot’s small business speech discusses the role that the government should play in helping start-ups succeed. As a business owner, he claims it’s difficult to start a business and employ people when one is worried about the taxes that their attempts will result in.
Mascot believes that their should be some kind of incentive for small businesses to hire more staff. He also believes that small businesses should be given a tax break of some kind. He points out that in New York, this kind of tax break is already being seen in the real estate business. Mascot would like to see it applied to small businesses as well, based on the size of the company.
