Spoken-word poet Sarah Kay opens her inspiring speech regarding how we can all live more than one life with a song and story. She goes on to explain to the audience that when she was a little girl she never understood that she wouldn’t be able to be an astronaut, a ballerina and a princess in just one lifetime. So when she grew older, she became disappointed to find out that she would not be able to fulfill all the goals she had when she was younger. However, Kay demonstrates to the audience that it is possible to live multiple lives and share in the experiences of others through the art of storytelling and this inspired her business of collecting and sharing stories. In Sarah's speech, she reveals to the audience not only how they can learn to view the world through the perspective of a stranger, but also stresses to them why it’s important not to rush the creative process.
