Unlocking Potential

In this brief, yet entertaining keynote, Trendspotter Magnus Lindkvist tells his cure for how one can overcome the obstacle of losing their inspiration. He shares with the audience that discovery and innovation come from uncertainty, and that there is nothing wrong with saying to yourself, “I don’t know.” Using comedy and descriptive scenarios to illustrate his point further, Magnus shows his audience how by not knowing a certain subject matter that they may be inspired to research it more thoroughly and make discoveries that other experts could miss. He explains that individuals have very few unique moments of inspiration throughout any given year, and reveals his research that supports this fact. By starting from a point of not knowing, Magnus Lindkvist beliefs that it might be possible for individuals to unlock those fleeting moments of creative potential.
