John Canfield has been a keynote speaker since 1990. Canfield developed the 'Good Thinking Series,' an organized means of revitalizing business thinking. Canfield builds up innovation from personal thinking to improved insights and improved decisions. Tracking these steps will ultimately lead to better company performance.
He says, "Your idea should be something you can laugh at, but something your competitors will fear." Internally, an idea should spark jovial inspiration and energy, but should be daunting to outside businesses. The idea should act as a threat. Thinking of an idea with this duality allows for management to make better decisions in goal setting and preparation for future action. He challenged management to take on the challenge of productive collaboration and open brainstorming.
