Coleman begins her keynote by stating that she lived on the ISS for a period of six months. She remarks that after the mission she is often asked about the lifestyle of astronauts onboard the space station. She continues her keynote by outlining her experience launching into space for the mission. Coleman notes that lift-off is a particularly exciting a dangerous experience. She outlines the mission process and outlines the experience docking at the ISS. She moves on to discuss floating, which is her favorite aspect of living in space.

Her team then worked on the experiments, as they had to be conducted in space. Coleman concludes her keynote by stating that the International Space Station is equal parts mission and magic. She states that the mission gave her the perspective that all of humanity is the "crew of spaceship Earth."
